FERSUM offers a wide range of anticorrosive covering and for mechanical protection. 3 LAYER POLPROPYLENE COATING Operating Conditions 3 layer polypropylene coating provides excellent corrosion protection, based on the use of a fusion bonded epoxy primer with the mechanical protection afforded by polypropylene. Suitable for application on water, oil and gas pipelines at service temperatures up to 140o C, 3LPP has an excellent track record.
3 LAYER POLYETHYLENE COATING Operating Conditions 3 layer polyethylene coating provides excellent corrosion protection, bases on the use of a fusion bonded epoxy primer with the mechanical protection afforded by high density polyethylene. Suitable for application on water, oil and gas pipelines at service temperatures up to 85o C, 3LPE has an excellent track record. FUSION BONDED EPOXY Operating Conditions FBE is a powder coating suitable for application to water, oil and gas pipelines of all diameters. Used for service temperatures up to 100o C in dry conditions and a maximum of 80oC when wet. Consult Wasco Coatings for guidance on use. FBE has been used successfully as a stand alone pipe coating system for over 30 years. FBE is also the primary layer in many other coating systems such as 3 layer polyethylene and 3 layer polypropylene systems.
MULTI-LAYER FUSION EPOXY COATING Operating Conditions In order to achieve enhanced performance under severe conditions conventional FBE coating can be supplemented using a dual powder system. Enhancement of mechanical protection, outdoor weathering and UV stability as well as abrasion resistance can be achieved using a variety of over coats that protect the underlying FBE corrosion protection layer. |
